What Cloudbrief is NOT
- Not a FinOps platform. No procurement cycle, no sales team, no contract negotiation. A focused tool you can sign up for and turn on in 10 minutes.
- Not a CloudWatch replacement. Bring your own dashboards and runbooks; Cloudbrief connects the dots between metrics you already have.
- Not free forever. Currently in early-access. When we exit, the proposed pricing is published and you get ≥30 days' notice before any charge.
Honest current limitations
- Single AWS region per AWS account today. Multi-region rollout is roadmap.
- Anthropic + OpenAI are the only AI providers; no on-prem / Bedrock option yet.
- Daily reports run at 09:00 IST. Per-account custom schedules are not exposed (planned).
- Pricing model not yet finalised — see Usage & billing for the current plan.
